this is from the day muammar ghaddafi was said to have been killed.
the image on the screen is of him, still alive, but severely injured and covered in blood.
it streamed on CNN for hours and hours under the banner BREAKING NEWS.
he was captured by the rebels/TNC fighters in a huge sewer drain. two south african mercenaries escaped alive despite having tried to help him.
south african authorities are not helping them re-enter the country.
